In the coming months, Days of Our Lives fans around the world will be saying goodbye to Ashley Puzemis as Holly Jonas. Puzemis is one of four contract cast members recently let go from the show. The other three stars include Leo Howard as Tate, Carson Boatman as Johnny, and Raven Bowens as Chanel.
While the news first broke earlier this year, Puzemis just wrapped filming the other day.
In a new Instagram post featuring a carousel of behind-the-scenes moments, the actress shared, “Been meaning to post… but that’s officially a wrap on Holly Jonas! 222 episodes later, an Emmy nomination, many tears shed, and an entire cast who has become my family. Thank you for the memories @dayspeacock! On to the next chapter.”
An Emmy Nomination and a Fan Favorite Run
During her time on the show, which began in 2023, Puzemis earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of Best Emerging Talent. She quickly became a fan favorite, and there is no doubt she will be missed.
Her castmates made that very clear.
Marissa Reyes, who plays Ari, wrote, “MY BELOVED GIRL. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Our paths were meant to cross. You are the best thing in the world, I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait to enter this next chapter with you.”
Martha Madison, who plays Belle, shared, “You light up the screen and every room you walk into. You will crush whatever comes next, and we will be cheering you on the whole way.”
Dan Feuerriegel, who plays EJ, simply added, “Miss ya Ashy.”
