The two recently took Instagram by surprise with a festive Christmas duet, joined by BTG newcomer David Lami Friebe, who provided keyboard accompaniment. The sweet performance quickly made the rounds, and in the clip, Karla shared how the idea came together.
“Hey, Gatekeepers! It’s Karla Mosley—aka Dani Dupree—with a special Christmas surprise just for you. By now, you probably know how insanely talented our cast is. One day, I was sitting in hair and makeup and heard Sean Freeman, who plays Andre, singing next to me. I thought, wouldn’t it be amazing if Dani and Andre could sing a holiday song together?
That night, I went home, and a little melody popped into my head. I reached out to Lami, who plays Izaiah, and asked if he’d help me write a Christmas song. We put it together, and now here it is, just for you. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and wishing you the most spectacular New Year from Beyond the Gates.”
