Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is the go-to guy when people need certain kinds of favors. He is also the one who knows how to put others in the hot seat when he needs answers.
Case in point, he puts Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) on the spot in this episode. But it does not stop there. Not even close.
Because right after that, Deanna (Angela Fairley) turns the tables and puts Joey in the hot seat. And she is not holding back.
Deanna is not happy. Not even a little bit. She has made it very clear how she feels about Joey being in a relationship with her mother.
Now she has questions. A lot of them. And she is finally saying what has been on her mind.
The real question is, is she actually ready for the answers?
Vanessa Stands Her Ground
Meanwhile, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) and Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) have a heated exchange. Their double date did not go smoothly at all, and tensions are still high.
Vanessa is tired of people having opinions about her relationship. Still, she has to know where they are coming from. Joey does not exactly have a clean past.
But at the end of the day, she stands by him. No matter what anyone says, she is defending him and what they have.
More Trouble Brewing
Beyond the Gates spoilers for April 10 also tease that Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) team up when Madison (Kenjah McNeil) gets sued and starts to spiral.
At the same time, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) gets a new lead in the case, which could finally push things forward.
