Double Date Drama

Remember that double date Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) have been planning? It’s finally happening… but yeah, it doesn’t go as smoothly as they hoped.

Nicole is with Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley), while Vanessa is paired up with Joey (Jon Lindstrom) for a night out at Uptown.

At first, things seem fine. Calm even. But that doesn’t last.

Some comments get made, and let’s just say they don’t land well. Joey gets upset, and not just a little upset either. It’s enough to spark a clash between him and Carlton.

Carlton might already have his own opinions about Joey, but Joey isn’t the type to hold back. He’s going to say exactly what’s on his mind, and that’s where things really heat up.

So… whose side are you on? Joey or Carlton?

Eva Speaks Her Mind, Naomi Holds Leverage

Meanwhile, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) is on a mission.

She heads to the casino to get something off her chest. The question is, what’s been weighing on her? Could it have something to do with her beau, Izaiah (Lami)? Or maybe it’s about her mom, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), especially after Leslie teamed up with Joey to open that free clinic.

Either way, Eva is ready to talk. We’ll see how that plays out.

Elsewhere, Beyond the Gates spoilers for April 1 also tease that Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is holding a past lie over Hayley’s (Marquita Goings) head.

These two used to be best friends… until Hayley crossed a major line and stole Naomi’s mom’s man. Yeah. That happened.

So it’s safe to say Naomi knows a lot about Hayley. We just wish she knew what Hayley is really up to these days.

And then there’s Donnell (Alex Cheeks), who has a lot on his mind. Thankfully, he has Kat (Colby Nixon) to confide in.

Looks like things are only getting messier in Fairmont Crest.
