Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Deanna Blasts Her Mom
Next week on Beyond the Gates, Deanna McBride (the role is being played by soap newcomer Angela Fairley) finally comes to town.
She sits down with Eva Thomas, Donnell McBride, and Vanessa McBride at Uptown when Joey Armstrong stops by. Joey seems happy to finally meet Deanna. But is the feeling mutual?
Not exactly.
Deanna Questions Joey’s Motives
Deanna quickly goes off on her mom and questions everything about Joey. She wants to know what kind of man would dedicate a building to a woman’s dead husband and drop all that money unless he is getting something in return.
Deanna clearly thinks there is more going on. In fact, she flat-out suggests that her mom might be serving “it” up. And by it, you know exactly what she means.
Secrets, Suspicion, and Confrontations
Meanwhile, Shanice and Ted get a little lovey-dovey.
At the same time, Jacob calls Greyson. Greyson wants to know who is on the other end of the line, but Jacob makes it clear they need to talk. And he warns Greyson that he cannot say a single word about what he saw until they have that conversation.
Elsewhere, Dani seems to think it is pretty hot that a bunch of sexy men are battling it out over her sister, Nicole Dupree.
Bill Presses Joey for Answers
In the closing scene of the promo, Bill pays Joey a visit.
Joey asks what is on his mind, and Bill puts it out there plain and straight. He wants to know if there is something about Hayley and Sammy that he should know.
So, will Joey finally tell the truth? Or will he keep the secret buried?
