The Duprees are in the thick of a tough battle right now. Their matriarch, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), has been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, and one by one, the family is learning the news. The daughters already know, and soon the grandkids will, too.
Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) is now faced with the heartbreaking task of telling her kids, Kat (Colby Muhammad) and Martin (Brandon Claybon). And, as you might expect, the news sparks an argument between the siblings.
But they aren’t the only grandkids facing this devastating reality. Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) are blindsided during a visit with their grandparents; they, too, are learning about Grandma’s diagnosis.
