Anita (Tamara Tunie) already has more than enough on her plate. Coping with a triple-negative breast cancer diagnosis and worrying about how it could affect her family in more ways than one is a lot for anyone to handle.
But just when she thinks things cannot get more overwhelming, she gets a surprise visit from an old friend, and the encounter quickly turns tense. Could it be one of her girls from The Articulettes? Is Sharon (Bonita Brisker) or Tracy (Maria Howell) making another appearance, or is it someone entirely unexpected?
Vanessa Turns to Joey
Meanwhile, poor Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). After learning some truly devastating news, she turns to Joey (Jon Lindstrom) with a serious request.
What exactly does she find out? Does it have something to do with the twins, or could she learn from her closest friends, Dani (Karla Mosley) or Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix), about Anita’s diagnosis?
If so, that could mean they and their kids may need to get tested themselves, since there is a possibility they could be at risk too. That kind of revelation is more than enough to send anyone down an emotional spiral.
Tyrell and Jessica’s Relationship
