Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Naomi Worries about Jacob
Next week on Beyond the Gates, things really start to heat up in Fairmont Crest.
Naomi and Jacob spend their anniversary apart, which is not exactly how either of them imagined it. Instead of celebrating together, they are both reflecting on their relationship, from their first date all the way to their wedding vows. It is emotional, and for Naomi, it comes with real fear. She admits she is terrified her husband might not come home from his undercover investigation.
A Dangerous Investigation
Meanwhile, Jacob is deep in his investigation, working closely with Smitty as they continue going undercover to get answers. He admits he is casting a wide net and is hoping to catch something big.
But Smitty sees it a little differently. He suggests they are not just looking for anything; they need to catch someone specific. And that is an impaler.
Secrets at the Dupree Manor
Over at the Dupree manor, Anita is not missing a thing. She stops Vernon in his tracks and calls him and Dani out. Anita makes it clear that she knows they are up to something.
She reminds them she is no fool, and whatever they are hiding, she is already onto them.
Big Moves and Rising Tension
Tomas also makes a major move when he surprises Bill with his letter of resignation. He hands it in at the firm. Immediately, Bill starts wondering what brought this on.
It does not take long to get the answer. Tomas confirms it is because of Hayley, and he is ready to move on to something new.
Elsewhere, Detective Marcel Malone shares a moment with Leslie. He admits that Sheila is the only woman who does not drive him crazy. Leslie quickly points out that she is standing right there, and Marcel has to admit she drives him a little crazy.
Trouble Hits Close to Home
At home, things take a serious turn when Tyrell shows up and reveals that someone has been following him. That is enough to set off alarm bells, and Smitty immediately wants to contact the police.
And over at Orphey Gene’s, tensions explode. Samantha gets into a heated confrontation, and it looks like June could be the one on the receiving end.
An emotional Samantha does not hold back. “Can you just stop thinking about yourself and just be there for your kids. Is that too much to ask?”
Clearly, emotions are running high, and it does not look like things are calming down anytime soon.
