Deacon’s Lie Sets Things in Motion
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Finn (Tanner Novlan), and the kids are off on an overnight getaway, leaving Taylor (Rebecca Budig) alone at the cliff house. And just like that, the door is wide open for drama.
Because if Taylor is alone, you already know Deacon (Sean Kanan) is going to want to see her. The only problem? He’s married to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).
Deacon knows showing up to see Taylor could blow everything up. So what does he do? He lies.
He tells Sheila a story about his plans for the night, but that’s not all. Deacon pulls Hope (Annika Noelle) into it, too. He asks his daughter to back him up and cover for him, claiming they’re having dinner together while he sneaks off to see Taylor.
It’s not something he feels great about, but he does it anyway. And just like that, things are already heading in a dangerous direction.
Steffy did warn Taylor not to get into any trouble. That warning might already be going out the window.
Hope Starts to Worry
Meanwhile, Hope opens up to Liam (Scott Clifton) about everything that’s been weighing on her. She wants her dad to be happy, no question about it. But this situation? It doesn’t sit right with her.
Deacon is married to Sheila while sneaking around with Taylor. That’s not just messy, it’s risky. And Hope knows it. She’s been warned more than once about how dangerous Sheila can be.
At the end of the day, Hope just wants the best for her dad. She wants him with the right person. But the way things are playing out, it could come at a serious cost.
