Vico Escorcia is the new Arianna “Ari” Horton on Days of Our Lives. Escorcia is set to make her debut next week on the Peacock soap in the role last played by Marissa Reyes.

Reyes made her final appearance on the daytime soap on Wednesday, March 25.

At the time of her exit, she reflected on the experience in an Instagram post, writing, “It has been an absolute honor to be a part of such a legacy, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for what this opportunity has taught and given me. Although it was my choice—and mine alone—to make my exit from the show, I will always look back on this chapter with complete and honest gratitude and affection. It’s bittersweet to see the end of this chapter, but I am over the moon excited to welcome in the next. Here’s to what’s coming!!”

Victoria (Vico) Escorcia was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She has been nominated for two Ariel Awards, which are considered the Mexican equivalent of the Oscars, and she also received a Silver Goddess Award, similar to the Golden Globes in Mexico, for her performance in Los Crímenes de Mar del Norte.
