Marlena Surprises Rachel
It’s a mixed bag in Salem right now. Some are finding reasons to smile, while others are holding their breath. Rachel (Alice Halsey) is definitely in the happy camp, especially when a familiar face comes to visit.
With Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) finally on the same page again, Marlena gets the chance to see her granddaughter in Bayview. And if there’s one thing that’s certain, Rachel will be grinning from ear to ear.
Brady Confronts Kristen
That calm doesn’t last long, though. Brady finally gets the confrontation with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) he’s been waiting for.
Ever since he learned that Kristen knew Rachel was the one who shot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and chose to keep it quiet, it’s been eating at him. Instead of coming clean, she took the blame to protect their daughter.
Kristen will no doubt stand by her decision, saying she did what she believed was best. And honestly, from a mother’s perspective, it’s hard not to see her point. Still, Brady won’t let it slide. He’ll definitely want to remind her that Rachel is not just her child, and being shut out of something this big is not okay with him.
Johnny Has a Moment with EJ
Elsewhere, another DiMera reunion is unfolding. Johnny (Carson Boatman) comes face-to-face with his father, and while forgiveness isn’t exactly on the table yet, the two share a moment that feels like a step in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) are beside themselves with worry over Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). After being kidnapped and trapped in the family crypt, Theo suffered a serious fall during a struggle with Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). Now everyone is left wondering if he’ll pull through.
Sarah Gives Chanel News
Days spoilers for December 25 also hint that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) delivers news Chanel (Raven Bowens) has been dreading. Chanel fears her test results will confirm her worst nightmare, that the cancer is back. But there’s a chance the update brings something unexpected. In Salem, hope and heartbreak tend to walk hand in hand, and only time will tell which one shows up next.
