Wedding, Kisses, and Mistletoes
Coming up on Days of Our Lives, things move fast after a surprise proposal because next comes a New Year’s Eve wedding. Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) are getting married, and Salem turns out in full force to witness it. Marlena (Deidre Hall) steps in to officiate yet another Salem wedding, which feels like the perfect way to ring in the new year.
Elsewhere, it is all about kisses and little surprises. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) end up under the mistletoe, so of course they share a kiss. Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna (Leann Hunley) are reunited, and they pick up right where they left off with a kiss of their own. Love is definitely floating around Salem.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) also has something up his sleeve for Stephanie (Abigail Klein). She points out that they already exchanged gifts, but he admits he forgot to give her the last one. That raises the question, what is this mystery gift, and is it something that could change things between them?
Will Peter Die?
Over at the hospital, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad (Billy Flynn) bump into each other, creating yet another awkward run-in. And emotions are running especially high for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who is sitting at her brother Peter Blake’s (Dan Gauthier) bedside as he lies hooked up to machines.
She is clearly struggling, but EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has no patience left. He thinks they should pull the plug now, before Peter can do any more damage to the family. So is this really the end of the road for Peter Blake?
