A Christening on a Tight Timeline

It’s a bit last-minute, but there’s a good reason for the rush. One of Trey’s godparents is about to leave Salem because his father is seriously ill. Javi (Al Calderon) has already booked his flight, but before he goes, he wants one thing more than anything. He wants to say goodbye to Trey.

A Bittersweet Goodbye for Leo and Javi

So, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) come up with a pretty amazing idea. They decide to move up the christening so Javi can be there. With that decision made, the newly married duo jumps straight into preparation mode, determined to make the day special for their little one.

At the same time, it’s shaping up to be a quiet but emotional day for Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi. Javi has chosen to leave town for the foreseeable future, and that means there’s no guarantee he’ll be back anytime soon.

He might not come back at all. When he finally crosses paths with Leo, it’s bound to be bittersweet. Some goodbyes are harder when neither person is ready to say them.

Questions and a Familiar Face

Elsewhere, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Rafe (Galen Gering) sit down with Ari (Marissa Reyes) for some questions. What are they digging into? It could have something to do with what Ari saw in the town square. She’s convinced she spotted someone who looked an awful lot like Sophia (Rachel Boyd).

Trouble Brews at Bayview

Speaking of Sophia, Days spoilers for January 19, 2026 reveal she’s in for a shock. Sophia comes face-to-face with Holly (Ashley Puzemis) when Holly shows up at Bayview. From that moment on, things are anything but simple. We all know how Sophia feels about Holly, and tension is pretty much guaranteed.
