A Miracle
Life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs, some good and some bad. On the brighter side of things, Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) receive a New Year’s miracle.
They have been praying and hoping for Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) to wake up after he was kidnapped, thrown into the family crypt, fought off Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier), and left in a slight coma.
Thankfully, he comes back just in time for the New Year, and there is no doubt that Abe and Paulina are overjoyed. The big question now is whether Theo even remembers what happened to him.
Leo Opens up to Marlena
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) gets Leo (Greg Rikaart) to finally open up. Leo thought he was on the verge of becoming the happiest man alive.
And he was, right up until Dimitri (Peter Porte) showed up and stirred up some very unwanted tension. Dimitri’s return was the last thing Leo expected, and it could not have come at a worse time. With all of that weighing on him, Marlena steps in and helps him talk through everything.
Dimitri vs. Gwen
Days spoilers for January 6, 2026, also tease that Dimitri faces off with Gwen (Emily O’Brien), and it is about time. Gwen has been back in town, living it up off the von Leuschner fortune, and Dimitri is clearly not thrilled about that. He is ready to give her a few choice words, and the two are headed for a heated verbal showdown.
