Amy Turns to Melinda
Life in Salem remains anything but easy, especially for Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson).
The grieving mother has been trying to make sense of the devastating situation surrounding her daughter, Sophia (Rachel Boyd). Although no body has been found, the evidence that continues to surface is painting an increasingly grim picture. More and more, it appears that Sophia may truly be gone.
Amy doesn’t have many close connections in Salem, which makes her next move particularly interesting.
This week, she opens up to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), who is finally back on the scene.
As viewers know, Melinda witnessed Sophia’s darker side firsthand and saw just how troubled the young woman had become. Because of that, she may be one of the few people who can truly understand the complicated emotions Amy is dealing with.
The two women could find common ground as they discuss Sophia and the painful reality of everything that’s happened.
Tate and Holly Find Time for Romance
Meanwhile, Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) are trying to focus on something positive.
Their relationship has certainly had its ups and downs. Some days have been filled with happiness, while others have been marked by conflict.
Recently, Holly has been carrying an enormous amount of stress. Between Amy’s relentless search for answers and her determination to pursue justice, emotions have been running high across Salem.
With so much chaos surrounding them, Holly desperately needs a break. Fortunately, she finds comfort in Tate, and the two share a romantic moment that allows them to escape the drama, at least for a little while.
Are Jada and Shawn Headed for Romance?
Elsewhere in Salem, Jada (Elia Cantu) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) continue finding themselves drawn into each other’s orbit.
The pair have been spending more and more time together lately, and the chemistry between them has become difficult to ignore.
Could romance be on the horizon once again?
Fans may soon get their answer as their connection continues to deepen.
