General Hospital fan favorite Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) is on the mend after one surgery — but she’s not out of the woods just yet, with another scheduled for this Thursday.
The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a health update with fans. Pictured standing under an umbrella, her caption read:
“Quick Carolyn health update: first surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled for Thursday. All thoughts and prayers are welcome.”
What Happened to Carolyn Hennesy?
For those wondering what happened, Hennesy recently suffered a leg injury, which forced her to cancel one of her scheduled events. On October 28, she shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
“Hello all, due to unforeseen circumstances, like a broken leg, my performance at Vibrato on November 5 has been postponed. We’ll git ‘er done, just not on the 5th.”
Of course, her post was immediately met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and friends alike. One fan, Jackie Lewis, commented, “Feeling sad for your pain but I know what a fighter you are, and I’m here to help you however I can! We all love you so much, Carolyn, and you’ll be back on Vibrato’s stage — and many more — when you’re recovered and ready.”
Over on Instagram, Julie Dove (ex-Connie Viniski, Days of Our Lives) shared her own message: “Oh no! I hope you feel better soon.” Another fan wrote, “Aww! Sorry to hear this, Carolyn!! Take care and hope you’re better soon!” while one added, “Please get better quickly! The world needs your song and smile!”
We’re joining the fans in sending Carolyn Hennesy all our love, well wishes, and prayers for a speedy recovery. As one fan perfectly put it:
“Get better soon!!! When are you coming back to GH??? You’re missed!!”
