General Hospital Recap February 12, 2024: Today on GH – Laura and Kevin make an important decision. Gregory confides in Tracy. Carly and Drew discover Nina’s plan. Sonny is suspicious of Dex. Trina struggles with her grief.
General Hospital Recap February 12, 2024
Tracy meets Gregory at the Metro Court, and he reveals that he is moving in with Finn just as Lucy storms in and goes off on Tracy, blaming her for her split with Martin. Gregory lends a hand to clean up the mess, and Tracy fires back at Lucy, claiming she tried to make things right by reaching out to Martin. Lucy insists it was too little, too late, and suddenly Tracy has an “aha” moment, realizing what she’s really too late for. She calls out Lucy for sleeping with Scott so soon. She presses for details, but Lucy denies it, expressing regret that she can’t get Martin to answer her calls. Gregory chimes in, mentioning a visit to Laura, and Lucy sees the silver lining, deciding to head over there.
After Lucy leaves, Tracy and Gregory get back to their morning hangout. Gregory opens up about hating the idea of giving up his “independence” and facing the reality of the move. He feels like this might be the start of a new and final chapter for him.

Kevin and Laura are at home with Ace, when suddenly there’s a knock at the door. Laura goes to check it out, and it’s Martin, who apologizes for dropping by unannounced, but he’s got some super important paperwork about her grandson. He hands her a petition to adopt the little guy.
Laura’s totally surprised, noting that they were just supposed to look after him until Nikolas gets out of jail. Then Kevin drops the bomb that Heather’s interested in the kid too after he sees her at Esme’s grave. Later, after talking things through, Martin has to take off before he misses his flight, and he reveals that he’s going to be out of Port Charles for a while. After he leaves, Kevin and Laura have a heart-to-heart about the whole adopting-Ace situation.
But just as they were getting into it, Lucy shows up at the door. She feels bad about Spencer and asks if Martin’s still there. They inform her that he left not long ago. Laura reveals that he’s headed straight for the airport and encourages Lucy to hurry if she wants to catch him. Later, they have a heart-to-heart about officially becoming Ace’s parents. It’s a big responsibility, but Kevin assures her that he’s fully committed if it is what she wants. Meanwhile, Lucy arrives at the airport for Martin, but she is just a little too late.

At the art gallery, Trina arrives seeking a distraction. Ava informs her about the new show and expresses interest in Trina’s input. Meanwhile, Frank updates Sonny about keeping an eye on Dex, who is also present at the gallery. Later, while Trina is admiring a painting, she becomes lost in her thoughts and emotions, accidentally dropping the artwork. Dex comes to her aid, and Trina confides in Ava about her overwhelming sorrow, likening it to losing Spencer all over again. She wishes it was her instead of him. Ava empathizes with Trina, recounting her own grief when Kiki passed away but advises against such thoughts.
Trina questions whether the sadness will ever go away, to which Ava tells her it doesn’t but assures her that she will gradually adapt and have support from those around her. Dex then brings them some tea, and Frank signals Dex to leave. Dex questions the sudden change in plans, as they were supposed to keep an eye on Ava.

Brick tells Sonny that Dex got bankrolled twice, and the latest one was the day after the Puerto Rico attack. They try to figure things out. Why would Dex do this to Josslyn? Brick thinks Dex is somehow trying to set up Sonny. Sonny mentions that he checked with Frank, who is watching Dex, and according to him, Dex is just doing his job. He’s not jumpy or anything. Brick says he was just working on a hunch while Sonny is pissed as he realizes that Brick found evidence to back up his hunch. Brick then asks Sonny what he’s gonna do.

Carly is all smiles as she tells Drew that she’s really starting to hit her stride. He can’t help but think she’s going to be the best Editor Crimson has ever seen, and they seal it with a kiss. But as they step off the elevator and see the place under construction, Carly’s immediate reaction is, “What the hell?” Just then, Nina walks in to explain the situation. She informs them about a leak and asserts her authority as the owner when Drew objects. The construction workers need to access the walls, which means no internet for about three days. Carly is freaking out because her first issue deadline is tomorrow, but Nina seems unfazed.
Carly accuses Nina of trying to undermine her, while Nina insists that her focus is on the hotel and advises them to let the repairs happen. Fed up, Carly warns Nina of legal action before storming out, leaving Drew to caution Nina that she’ll get burned if she keeps this up. Nina retorts that everything she’s doing is above board, so Drew shouldn’t bother getting a lawyer. She reveals that she’s already lost everything important to her and makes a cryptic remark about indignity. Drew pushes back, reminding her that she’s never experienced true indignity, but she’ll soon find out. With that, he leaves.
GH Recap Today
Willow wakes up on the couch, and Michael tells her he got everything sorted. He crashed on the chair last night while she was snoozing on the couch. Willow appreciates him being there, and Michael agrees. She tells him it feels right to have him home.
Then Joss swings by to return Amelia’s bear she found in her car. While Willow goes upstairs, Joss asks her brother if everything’s cool between him and Willow. Joss blames Nina for this mess and can’t wait for Sonny to kick Nina to the curb. They also talk about Dex, and Michael spills the beans about Dex keeping the family safe after what went down in Puerto Rico.
As Joss leaves, Willow comes back, and Michael tells her that they were gossiping about something Sonny-related, but he’ll fill her in when the time’s right. Later, she asks Michael to move back in for good.

Diane and Robert are also at the Metro Court and see what’s going down at Gregory’s table. They chat about the malpractice suit. Then, Carly rolls up and tells Diane she’s got to talk to her right away because there’s an emergency – it turns out someone’s trying to sabotage Crimson. Carly also opens up to Diane about still grieving for her mom. Meanwhile, Drew lays down the law with Nina, and she’s all about getting the job done right and gives some cash to the workman to make it happen, telling him to take as long as possible.
