New year, new hair? Well, sort of! Rory Gibson and the General Hospital cast are back on set after their holiday hiatus, but the return came with a noticeable change.
Rory Gibson Gets Rid of His Beard
While off work, fans noticed that Gibson, who joined the show in 2025, had grown a beard. Some loved it and even hoped his GH character, Michael Corinthos, would sport it too. But according to a new photo Gibson shared on Instagram Stories, the beard is gone. After his clean shave, he posted before-and-after photos and wrote, “Back to work…bye to beard.” So, what do you think—are you team beard or team no beard?
Trouble for Michael on General Hospital?
Gibson is also known for his work on The Young and the Restless as Noah Newman. On GH, he is a contract player in the role of Michael Corinthos. Right now, Michael is stressed about the fallout from the courtroom drama at Willow’s trial. Alexis shifted her strategy, and suddenly, Michael is being looked at as a possible suspect in the shooting of Congressman Drew Cain.
The drama started when Michael teamed up with Jacinda Bracken to lie about being together that night to secure alibis. But during court this week, the truth about Michael’s whereabouts came out. Alexis even staged a move to get Tracy to admit on the stand that she saw Michael near Drew’s home the night he was shot.
This week, Michael is worried about the fallout and what the latest court developments could mean for him and his kids.
