This week on General Hospital, spoilers reveal that Christmas arrives in Port Charles and Sonny is bringing the holiday cheer. Plus, Alexis calls Portia to the stand, and Valentin gets a shock. Here’s what’s coming up on GH from December 22-26.
Santa Sonny
This week on General Hospital, shocks are coming in more than one form. First up, it actually looks like Christmas is being celebrated somewhere. “Merry Christmas,” Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) says at the start of the promo, and for a moment, things feel… lighter. Laura’s (Genie Francis) smiling, Sonny (Maurice Benard) shows up complete with a Santa hat, and Rocco (Finn Carr), Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening), and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) are all there, looking genuinely happy. It’s a rare calm, maybe even a holiday miracle.
Portia Takes the Stand
But elsewhere, the mood shifts fast. In the courtroom, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) prepares to make her case for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and calls Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to the stand. And that’s where things get uncomfortable.
Portia’s been trying hard to keep the truth about switching Heather’s (Alley Mills) test results buried—the same secret that put her in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) crosshairs. She may have an airtight alibi for the night of the shooting (yes, she was with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), in bed), but that’s not exactly something she’s ready to share.
Especially since she’s pregnant and still not sure who the father is. “Please don’t do this,” Portia begs on the stand. Could this be the moment her lies finally unravel?
Another Shock
And just when you think that’s enough drama, there’s one more shock. Two people clink glasses… then the camera cuts to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), who is completely stunned. His jaw says it all. The question is, what just hit him?
Low-key festive. High-key messy. Classic GH.
