Next on GH: Alexis’ New Strategy

General Hospital will be airing encore episodes today and tomorrow, but don’t get too comfortable. The show returns with an all-new episode and fresh drama on January 2, 2026.

When we’re back in Port Charles, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is clearly in thinking mode as she considers a brand-new strategy. After getting some shocking but very intriguing intel, she now knows that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was at Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) house. Not only that, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) saw him there and has been quietly sitting on that little detail.

Now, if Alexis truly plans to follow Drew’s lead and win this case, she may want to think long and hard before making her next move. This information could work completely in Drew’s favor, or it could end up being her undoing. Either way, the stakes just went up, and only time will tell how it plays out.

Sonny Issues a Warning and Dante Coners with Justine

Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) issues a warning to Michael. If we had to guess, it likely ties back to the case and Drew’s shooting. The question is, what exactly does Sonny have to tell his son, and will Michael listen?

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has a conversation with Justine (Nazneen Contractor). This could easily circle back to Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial and possibly Chase’s (Josh Swickard) suspension. After all, things got heated in that PCPD interrogation room, and Dante demanded that Chase turn in his badge and suspend him. That tension is far from over.

Other GH Spoilers for January 2 also reveal that Kristina (Kate Mansi) is caught off guard. Something clearly takes her by surprise, but what could it be?

And finally, Laura (Genie Francis) receives new marching orders. All signs point to Sidwell (Carlo Rota) being the one calling the shots. Whatever he has planned, it looks like Laura is about to be pulled deeper into the action.
