It’s shaping up to be a big day in Port Charles come January 19. According to General Hospital spoilers for that episode, Anna (Finola Hughes) is horrified, Drew (Cameron Mathison) issues a warning to Nina (Cynthia Watros), Dante (Dominic Zampronga) is conflicted, and more.
What Happened on General Hospital?
In the most recent episode of the ABC daytime soap General Hospital, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was surprised when she met up with Michael (Rory Gibson), who said he wanted to work with her on how things would go with their kids should she be found guilty. Only moments later, Willow was alerted via her phone that the jury’s in.
Elsewhere, Nina made it clear to Drew that he’s done enough, and from now on, she will be in control. Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) paid Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit to question her about coming forward with the truth about Willow being Drew’s shooter. Alexis defended her actions and explained herself.
Pascall (Marc Forget) had a doctor in to check on Anna. During this checkup, Anna swore she was being treated by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). However, Liesl was busy at the hospital convincing Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) on matters pertaining to Rocco (Finn Carr). Later, Anna was startled as a rather familiar voice, that of Caesar Faison (Anders Hove), came through the speaker.
In other GH news, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) lay in bed and basked in their love after hitting the sheets for the first time.
Back in court, as Port Charles residents gathered, the jury revealed its verdict.To their surprise, Willow was found not guilty of attempted murder.
According to a new General Hospital preview video, Sonny is about to learn about the verdict.
Sonny Hears that the Verdict is in on General Hospital
In the latest General Hospital spoilers video, Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrives at Miller & Davis and encounters Suzanne (Jen Ray). He starts out by asking how she’s doing, and she notes that she is doing just fine.
Immediately after, she asks what she can do for him. Sonny tells her he is there to see Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) and maybe a slice of that world-famous carrot cake. However, Suzanne informs him that she has fallen a bit behind on her baking these days, and on top of that, Ms. Miller is still in court. Sonny then wonders if he can speak to Alexis instead, but Suzanne breaks the news that she, too, is in court.
Suzanne reveals that the jury reached a verdict in the Willow Tait case. Sonny is surprised and notes that that was quick. He wonders how it will turn out. Suzanne points out that based on how the trial played out, things can go either way. Sonny, however, hopes that Willow is acquitted for everybody’s sake.
