Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has been making major moves lately. She just tendered her resignation at the hospital, and now she is hit with some rather surprising news from Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
He informs her that with her husband incapacitated and unable to serve as congressman, it is not unheard of for a spouse to step in and finish the term. Sidwell believes she is uniquely qualified to take over for Drew (Cameron Mathison) in DC.
That is a lot to take in.
This kind of news really takes Willow by storm. It is a lot to process, especially with everything else already happening in her life.
While she is trying to wrap her head around it, she also makes a revelation to Nina. Will she tell her about Sidwell’s shocking suggestion? And if she does, what kind of advice will Nina (Cynthia Watros) give her daughter?
You know Nina will have an opinion.
Spinelli Fears What Comes Next
Elsewhere, another person with a lot on his mind is Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). With Maxie (Kirsten Storms) awake and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) back from the dead, he cannot help but worry about what this means for him and Maxie.
He admits that how he handles this situation could change his life. That is a heavy realization.
So what sort of advice will Brook Lynn offer when she counsels him?
As for Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening), she opens up to Laura, while Nathan confides in Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). He is clearly anxious about what will happen when he and Maxie finally come face-to-face.
