The Young and the Restless has done it again, and this time it was all about giving back.
Several cast members showed up to support the show’s annual Toy Drive, including Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Nathan Owens (Holden), Sean Dominic (Nate), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), who also rocked her new short haircut at the event. As per usual, the day was filled with holiday spirit, generosity, and a strong sense of community.
Taking to Instagram, Stafford shared a photo from the Toy Drive and wrote, “It’s happening right now!!! The Young & The Restless annual TOY Drive!!! With the @naacp and @nationalactionnetwork thank you Hal and Lynette and Ricardo at @walmart Burbank ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I think we all need a little good news right?” She also teased fans with, “More pics to come.”
Then in a follow-up post, Stafford delivered just that, sharing videos and photos from the big day, one o whicch includes Billy flynn (aka Cane Ashby). This time, she added a heartfelt caption that summed up the meaning behind the event: “Each man’s life touches so many other lives” — George Bailey.
This isn’t the first time The Young and the Restless has hosted a Toy Drive, and once again it proved to be a true team effort. This year’s drive brought together the cast, the NAACP, the National Action Network, Walmart, Salvation Army SoCal, and Berrics, all working together to make the holidays brighter for children in need.
