Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is not the only threat the Newmans are facing. Their company, Newman Enterprises, is now under attack, and this one catches Victor (Eric Braeden) completely off guard. He honestly did not see it coming.
Victor believed he had the upper hand thanks to the AI program Cane (Billy Flynn) created. And for a while, he did. But that advantage is slipping fast. Once Victor realizes what is really going on, you can bet he will want answers, and Cane is at the top of his list.
Victor Corners Cane
According to spoilers, Victor backs Cane into a corner. The question is whether it is already too late. Can Victor reclaim control, or has the damage already been done? For a man who hates being outplayed, this is not sitting well.
Victoria and Adam Step In
Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Adam (Mark Grossman) jump into damage-control mode at Newman Enterprises. The fallout has already begun, but they are determined to do whatever they can to limit the damage.
When things get messy, the Newmans tend to close ranks. Family sticks together, even when the road ahead looks rough. Whether that will be enough this time remains to be seen.
Diane Issues Jack an Ultimatum
Y&R spoilers for January 13 also reveal that Diane (Susan Walters) gives Jack (Peter Bergman) an ultimatum. Jack has been trying to outmaneuver Victor, believing that having one of Victor’s biggest enemies in his grasp would be the perfect bargaining chip.
That plan might have worked if Victor had not been blindsided by an attack on his company. Now the tables have turned, and Diane may be questioning Jack’s strategy. What kind of ultimatum does she give him, and will Jack have any choice but to listen?
