Here’s what’s coming up on The Young and the Restless for Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Fans can expect Victor to get the upper hand against the Abbotts and more. Let Soap Opera News break it down for you.
Victor Targets the Abbotts
Victor (Eric Braeden) is determined to get Newman Enterprises and its subsidiaries back. To that end, he has already cooked up a scheme and motivated Cane (Billy Flynn) to try and pressure Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) into handing back over the company. So far, no luck on that front. But Victor has not given up. Of course, he hasn’t. And now he has other plans.
One of those includes trying to get Billy (Jason Thompson) to give back Chancellor. Which means he is going after the Abbotts so Billy can see the error of his ways and, in Victor’s eyes, right his wrong.
To make that happen, poor Jack (Peter Bergman) ends up in the crossfire. As we saw in the latest preview video, Victor sends a message to Billy by kidnapping his brother.
Yes, Victor finally gets the upper hand against the Abbotts. And he does not plan to return Jack until Billy hands back over Chancellor.
So what will Billy do? That is the real question.
A Chilling Message Shakes Shick
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) receive a chilling message. If we had to guess, it is likely coming from their nemesis, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who was recently released and freed to roam the streets of Genoa City.
That alone is enough to put Sharon, Nick, and the Newmans on edge. Who would not be? This man caused so much drama and chaos in their lives. They would much rather never hear his name again. Yet, here they are.
Y&R spoilers for March 4 also tease that Cane hits below the belt. And honestly, he has no one to blame but himself.
He came back using a pseudonym, hiding under the name Aristotle Dumas, a name we would never want to hear or mention again (but we did) because we heard it so many times. Now he has lost to Phyllis, and unless he has some grand plan up his sleeve, he may just stay on the losing side.
And that is not somewhere you want to be in Genoa City.
