Bad news, bad decisions, and more drama in the next episode of Y&R.
Here’s what’s coming up on The Young and the Restless for Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Fans can expect Nick to make a bad decision while Sally delivers bad news. Let Soap Opera News break it down for you.
Sally (Courtney Hope) was not exactly thrilled when Billy (Jason Thompson) announced his little deal with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Yes, that deal. The one where he double-crossed Cane (Billy Flynn). The same one that ultimately gave him control of Chancellor and Newman Media. And let’s not forget, Newman Media was supposed to be for Sally.
So no, she was not happy.
Billy clearly has not let go of his obsession, and Sally sees that loud and clear. She is not just upset about what he did, but how he did it. The way he acquired those companies does not sit well with her at all. The tension between them explodes into a full-blown argument, and Billy ends up walking out on her.
Is it safe to say this relationship is over? Probably not. But Sally is about to deliver some bad news to Billy. What could it be?
Victor Strikes Back
Meanwhile, the day of the “bad” continues when Victor (Eric Braeden) gives Cane a taste of his own medicine.
We all know Victor was furious when Cane used that AI program to seize control of his companies. Victor does not forget, and he certainly does not forgive easily. Now that Cane has lost everything, Victor may be ready to strike.
But whatever Victor serves up might not be what Cane expects. When it comes to Victor Newman, retaliation is usually strategic and personal.
Nick Makes a Risky Move
The bad decisions do not stop there. Nick (Joshua Morrow) makes one of his own.
What could it be? We do know he pays Billy a visit. Is he trying to strike some kind of deal? Or does this have something to do with those pills he has been hiding from everyone?
Nick has been keeping secrets, and secrets in Genoa City never stay buried for long.
Looks like this is one of those days where everything that can go wrong just might.
