In Genoa City, sneaky moves and betrayals are nothing new, and right now, Jack (Peter Bergman) seems to have the advantage. Abbott security has captured Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), and Jack is hoping he can bargain with Victor (Eric Braeden), maybe even get him to back off Jabot and not use the AI program against them.
But this is Victor we’re talking about. Can you really trust him not to go after Jack or Jabot? Most likely, the answer is no. According to spoilers, Victor double-crosses Jack. No shocker there.
Cane Surprises Phyllis
Meanwhile, Cane (Billy Flynn) throws Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for a loop. She has been trying to push him to tap into his darker side, and she is definitely ready to play hardball, get on top and take control. And if that means teaming up with Cane to do it, she is all in.
So how does Cane surprise her? Is he finally ready to go down her path, or does he have a trick up his sleeve that she will not see coming? That is the question on everyone’s mind.
Nikki Confronts an Enemy
Y&R spoilers for January 12, 2026, also hint that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) confronts an enemy, possibly Matt Clark. He has been making her family’s lives miserable, and it looks like Nikki may finally see him face to face and give him a piece of her mind.
