Aketra Sevillian will be in the new series called Sugar on Apple TV+.

Sevillian is widely recognized for her run as Talia Hunter on Days of our Lives. Fans can look for her upcoming appearance in the second episode of the new series, where she will bring the character of Courtney to life.

In Sugar, a private detective John Sugar investigates the disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he unearths Siegel family secrets, old and new.

The main cast of the new series include Colin Farrell who will be playing the lead character of John Sugar. Kirby Howell-Baptiste will be taking on the role of Ruby. Amy Ryan is also part of the cast. She will be playing the character of Melanie Mackie, while Dennis Boutsikaris will be playing Bernie Siegel. Additionally, Alex Hernandez has been cast as Kenny and Lindsay Pulsipher is also a part of the cast.

The first episode of Sugar created by Mark Protosevich is set to air on April 5, 2024 in the USA. The show falls under the drama and mystery genres and will be available on Apple TV+. It is being produced by Chapel Place Productions and Protokino.
