Days of our Lives, The Peacock soap opera is bringing back some familiar faces to their old roles and also adding new cast members. Today, the show’s official Instagram page welcomed two newcomers, Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon, while teasing who they could be.
While we cannot confirm what roles they will play, a rep for Days of our Lives confirms that Jimenez will begin airing at the end of June and Calderon will debut in the fall. Exciting stuff ahead!
Who Is Days of our Lives Newbie, Cherie Jimenez?
Cherie Jimenez was born on June 23rd in Manhattan, New York. She grew up in the Lower East Side, Washington heights, Alphabet City and Brooklyn. She attended both The Professional Performing Arts School and SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory in New York. Now resides in Los Angeles, CA. Cherie Jimenez is credited with shows such as: Banshee, Pretty Little Liars, NCIS and more.
Who Is Days of our Lives Newbie, Al Calderon?
Al Calderon is a super talented man! He’s an actor and singer who totally rocked as Barca in AMC’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Born and raised in NYC, he’s got that real big city vibe. Al got his big break back in 2013 when he took a shot at “The X Factor” and boy, did he impress everyone with his soulful voice and stage presence. Since then, he’s been winning over crowds with his mesmerizing voice and charming personality. He has also had roles on The Resident, The Haves and the Have Nots, Law & Order: Special Victims Units and more.
