In today’s episode recap of The Young and the Restless (Y&R) for April 24, 2024: Nikki attempts to make a deal with Jordan, Kyle make a shocking discovery, and a new side of Ashley’s emerges.

Jordan is in the motel room where Harrison is in bed. She tells him that she’s taking care of him now since his parents don’t want him anymore.

Then she presents a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and insists he munches it because it’s his only option. But Harrison throws it away and mouths off. While thinking about Nikki’s message, she wonders if it is a trap. She weighs the pros and cons, thinking about having Nikki as as a hostage versus the “little brat”.

After deciding to meet Nikki, she warns Harrison not to make a scene, reminding him she’ll be nearby and listening. She straight up tells him not to pull any tricks, reminding him that his parents have left him high and dry.

Victor Grabs Jordan

Nikki’s out in the alley, waiting for Jordan to show. She’s walking back and forth when suddenly there’s a noise. Nikki thinks it’s Jordan and yells that she’s by herself and it’s not a trap. She keeps pacing, warning that this is Jordan’s last chance.

Later, Jordan arrives but Nikki’s nowhere to be seen. Jordan declares that Nikki better not be messing around. Then, out of nowhere, Victor sneaks up and chloroforms Jordan.

Jack and Traci are at the Abbott mansion, chatting about what’s going on with Harrison. Then Jack asks how things went with the therapy session for Ashley. Turns out the session didn’t happen. When they got there, Ashley said she needed to visit the bathroom and never came back.

Traci’s super worried about Ashley, and they’re both wondering what to do next. Traci thinks it is possible that Ashley finds the therapy hard because she’s talking to a stranger. She proposes they track down her psychiatrist pal in Paris because that could be the key to helping Ashley.

Jack thinks it is a brilliant idea. Traci’s off to check Ashley’s usual hangouts, while Jack holds down the fort at home in case Ashley shows up.

Traci hits up the GCAC and runs into Danny. She’s about to split, but they end up catching up for a bit. He spills about the Phyllis vs. Christine drama, then notices Traci dodging a topic. She finally comes clean about it being a family thing and asks if he’s seen Ashley but he hasn’t.

Ashley is at the Jazz Lounge bar having the time of her life as her new alter “Belle” emerges. She’s flirting with the bartender, ordering shots of tequila with a tiny slice of lime and salt.

Ashley is clearly not herself. She’s got this southern accent going on and sends the bartender to attend to a customer while she approaches the piano player and asks if he’s taking any requests.

He gives her something upbeat and Ashley totally enjoys herself, but then she asks for something sultry, which he plays, and she’s clearly having a blast. That’s when Traci shows up and witnesses Ashley’s alter in control. Traci is totally flabbergasted.

Summer sits on the patio at Crimson Lights as Daniel approaches her, inquiring about her not returning his calls and messages. She quickly updates him about Harrison, and Daniel tenderly embraces his sister.

Summer opens up to him, pouring out her heart about the emotional turmoil. She is steadfast in her belief that Claire is in cahoots with her aunt but somehow, Kyle is defending the girl.

When Daniel queries about their mother’s awareness of the situation, Summer conforms that she knows. Daniel pledges to prevent their mother from taking matters into her own hands. Summer mentions Chance’s has enlisted his contacts to investigate the matter further. Later, she receives a text and quickly rushes out.

Kyle Rescues Harrison

Kyle gives his dad a call to give him the lowdown on what he has discovered. Jack tells him to not do anything reckless and get the authorities involved.

Kyle assures him that he’s got it all sorted. He makes his way to the motel and starts banging on the door, shouting for Harrison.

When Harrison responds, Kyle warns him to take cover because he’s about to kick in the door. Harrison hides next to the bed, Kyle breaks down the door, and rushes in to embrace his son.
