Sami Brady is definitely a character that no ‘Days of Our Lives’ viewer will ever forget – despite the actress, Alison Sweeney moving on other gigs. Sweeney made her first appearance on January 22, 1993 after taping her first episode on January 6, 1993. Sami is a character best known for her mahy failed relationships with men and her manipulative trouble-making ways. She’s often referred to as vindictive and the girl “you love to hate”.
The character of Sami has been a part of several supercouple pairings including; Sami and EJ [ex-James Scott] and Lucas [Bryan Dattilo] and Sami. Sami has been married
a number of times and paired with several other characters including; Austin
[Austin Peck], Brandon [Matt Cedeno] and Rafe [Galen Gering].
In
2015, Sweeney earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress
category for her role as Sami Brady. Sweeney departed the role in October, 2014 but has
