Sophia Visits Kristen
Kristen DiMera usually holds all the cards, but her alliance with an unhinged Sophia might be her undoing. Kristen gets a visit from Sophia this week that leaves her rattled. To make matters worse, Kristen and EJ are still at each other’s throats, trading accusations over what happened to Johnny. Even Marlena gets involved when she has a run-in with Kristen regarding Rachel. It seems Kristen is fighting battles on every single front right now.
After Johnny’s near-death experience, where Sophia literally tried to light him on fire, Johnny gets a visit from Grandma Marlena, who counsels him.
Gabi has quite a busy week, but so does Alex. While Gabi is set to make a bold claim, she and Ari will clash, and Philip will give her advice. Meanwhile, Alex will have a big request for Joy as he tries to navigate his new reality. However, in this spoiler photo, Gabi and Alex sit down for a chat at the Kiriakis mansion.
Tense Run-Ins
Alex’s world was recently rocked by the news that Joy Wesley gave birth to his child. This week, Alex takes a big step by asking Joy to stay in Salem. While he and Justin bond over the complexities of fatherhood, Stephanie is definitely struggling with this news. She ends up venting to Jada about the situation, and later, she has a tense run-in with Joy that makes it clear this “modern family” setup is going to be anything but easy.
While the rest of Salem is dealing with life-and-death drama, Cat and Chad are trying to navigate their own connection. After a rocky start, they are attempting to keep things casual, but in Salem, “casual” rarely lasts long.
