Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 5-9, 2026 tease big returns, shocking moves, and someone back from the “dead”—and we’ve got the spoiler photos to prove it!
Coming up this week, Kristen DiMera is out of town and finally encounters Sophia Choi, who was presumed dead back in April. Meanwhile, Dante Vitali surprises Sydney DiMera, Chanel helps her husband Johnny with a tough decision, Steve gets troubling news from Johnny, Jada and Shawn make time for romance, Stephanie and Alex steal a private moment, and so much more!
Here are 6 spoiler photos for the week to give you an idea of what’s coming up:
A New Temporary Theo Carver
Theo has been MIA for a little while. Apparently, he came down with something, as his dad Abe reported. But fear not—you will see Theo again this Tuesday! Just don’t expect Tyler Joseph Andrews in the role as per usual. Instead, GH actor Tajh Bellow fills in for one episode when Theo and Gabi meet in the town square, and Theo agrees to help her out.
Meanwhile, Gabi’s day gets busy because her beau, Philip Kiriakis, has some kind of plan cooking, according to spoilers. As seen in this photo, the two are glued to their phones—no doubt plotting their next move. Or, maybe checking out the latest scoop!
Dante Comes to Salem
Elsewhere in Salem, Sydney DiMera is clearly engulfed in work on her laptop over at the DiMera mansion… but is it really work? We will find out soon enough!
In the meantime, her boss, Dante Vitali, finally shows up in Salem and surprises her when he swings by the mansion to have a chat.
Kristen Finds Amelia… Hmm, Sophia Choi!
And over at Kay’s Diner in Paducah… it’s another break from the “dead” and probably the biggest story of the week! We—and several viewers—were spot on with our hunch that Sophia did not die. She is very much alive, going by the new name “Amelia,” and sporting a fresh new red hair color.
While she’s enjoying her newfound life as a waitress at the diner, there is one thing she clearly wasn’t prepared for: Kristen DiMera showing up to confront her! Talk about serious drama!
So, after looking at these Days of Our Lives spoiler photos, which storyline are you most excited for? Is it Sophia’s shock return, or Dante’s arrival in Salem? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
