Stranger things have totally happened in soap land, so throwing in a crossover love triangle would be no big deal. After 30 years of playing Nick on The Young and the Restless, Joshua Morrow has been paired up with quite a few onscreen partners. But hey, Nick’s currently riding solo and probably ready to mingle, so who’s the right woman for him? Well, in a recent interview, Joshua Morrow spoke with Soaps.com, saying he’s all about a soap crossover triangle, like one with his character Nick and Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Joshua Morrow expressed his desire for a compelling storyline featuring a cross-show couple entangled in a messy love triangle. He said, “What I want to do is have a triangle that involves a cross-show couple. That would be pretty awesome if we connected the two shows with a pairing that was messy and in a triangle.”
He added, “Obviously, my choice for that would be Jacqui [Jacqueline MacInnes Wood]. She’s a very beautiful woman and obviously very, very talented. What man wouldn’t want to work with her? So that’s the storyline that I want to tell.”
Of course, everyone is curious about how this would work, given that Steffy is happily married to Finn (Tanner Novlan). It remains to be seen if the show will ever introduce a crossover love triangle involving Nick, Steffy, and Finn, or perhaps Nick, Steffy, and another woman from either The Bold and the Beautiful or Y&R.
