Alison Sweeney (Sami, Days) and Cameron Mathison (Drew, GH) will return for an all-new Hannah Swensen Mystery this October!
A Zest for Death is scheduled for an October 6, 2023 release date and once again unites Hannah Swensen and Detective Mike Kingston as they are faced with another murder to solve!
Hannah’s mother Delores (Barbara Niven) discovers the body of a regular customer of The Cookie Jar while house-hunting for Michelle (Tess Atkins). Tensions rise when Hannah is convinced Mike’s prime suspect is innocent. Together, the Swensen family — including her second sister Andrea — join forces to uncover the truth!
Star Allison Sweeney had this to say about this installment in a conversation with TVLine: “This one requires really more of Hannah’s skills of — her superpower is her gut instinct and her way of communicating with people that gets them to confide in her and tell her things and how she notices things that are misplaced or out of the ordinary or not how it was last time.”
The series started on Hallmark as Murder, She Baked before taking a four-year hiatus to return as the rebranded Hannah Swensen Mysteries. The most recent installment was in May of this year with Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.
