So which role is ‘Days of Our Lives’ recasting or which new character is the show set to introduce. In some leaked audition tapes posted on Vimeo a few actors such as; Marcy Roche, Antonia Sitak, Johnny Salta and Ayla Rose Barreau audition for a part on the NBC daytime drama. In the audition tape there is one familiar name; Nicole who is in discussion with someone named Micah who apparently was injured after being absent from Salem for years. Micah is back in Salem for shoulder surgery, Nicole is angry with Micah who she hadn’t heard from in 3 years and had chosen baseball over her (does he sound anything like Paul?). In the script, Micah pretended not to know Nicole – check out the script and audition tapes below!
Nicole: Micah? Wow, what are you doing here?
Micah: Aren’t you glad to see me?
Nicole: What are you doing in Salem?
Micah: No one’s supposed to know but I’m here for shoulder surgery
Nicole: I knew you were injured but I didn’t know it’s serious
Micah: I didn’t want anyone to know it’s serious and with the surgery, there’s a good chance that my arm would be as good as new, maybe even better. Why should we be talking about this right now?
Nicole: No, that’s not happening now!
Micah: Nicole come on, I know you’re probably still mad. I haven’t heard from you in 3 years and if you’re still angry because I choose Baseball
Nicole: because you chose to pretend to be someone you’re not
Micah: Come on, you know that is not true, things are moving too fast and we had a good thing going for over a year but it’s what you wanted, to get married, it was just too much. It would’ve ruined my career
Nicole: What about all the hiding? What about you pretending you didn’t know me?
Micah: You think I didn’t know that? You think I didn’t want to take you out, introduce you to my family? You think I didn’t want the 2 of us to have all the things we talked about, all the things we dreamed about? I just couldn’t do it then.
Nicole: Right, and you made your choice and everything worked out how it should be
Micah: So you finally got what you always wanted?
Nicole: I met the person I was meant to be together with for the rest of my life
Micah: You thought that was me.
Nicole: I was wrong! I’m happier than I ever could be and I hope you will be happy one day soon
Micah: You think I’m not happy. You know how much money I get for playing a ball?
Nicole: And pretending to be someone you’re not? I see all the pictures of the models, the TV stars, one said break after another, you made your choice
Micah: you made yours… Nicole, it wasn’t that I didn’t love you
Nicole: I know, that made it even worst.
