Adrianne Leon may be the actress best known for the role of Brook Lynn Ashton on General Hospital. The role was originated by Brooke Radding who played the character from 1996 – 2001. In 2004, Leon stepped into the role as a rapidly aged Brook, at the time the character’s birth date was revised to 1986. Leon stayed with the show until 2006 when she went over to The Young and the Restless to play Colleen Carlton. She made her way back to ABC playing Brook Lynn once again from 2010 to 2011. She earned a Daytime Emmy award nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2005.
The character of Brook Lynn returned to the canvas in late 2019 with a new face. One Life to Live alum, Amanda Setton took over the role. She is now on maternity leave while Briana Lane fills in for her. One of Leon’s fans reached out to her on social media asking her about a GH return and she said, “Honestly, I loved every second of playing Brook Lynn and I’m so thankful for the time I spent being part of such an incredible show and cast/crew.fan family.” Leon went on further to share, “However, at the same time, the boots are filled 😉 and I could not be more excited for or supportive of Amanda and Briana in their journey of bringing Brook to life. I consider myself very honored to have been part of such a talented group of actors to play that role.
