And that’s a wrap. Alice Halsey, who took over the role of Rachel Black from Finley Rose Slater in 2025, makes her final appearance on Days of Our Lives in the March 5 episode.

Taking to Instagram with a carousel of behind-the-scenes images, Halsey shared an emotional farewell.

“My final episode as Rachel Black airs tomorrow,” she said.

Halsey continued, “After shooting 56 episodes of Days of Our Lives in nine months, it was not easy to say goodbye to my friends in the cast and crew who had become like family. I will be forever grateful for the privilege to play such a fascinating, complicated character and to be a part of this epic story.”

Halsey added, “Thank you to everyone at Days – I miss you guys!! – and to all of the incredible fans for your support of my turn as Rachel Black!”

It’s safe to say she made an impact. So much so that she was crowned Soap Opera News’ top soap child actor of 2025.

Alice Halsey’s Castmates Show Their Support

After her post went live, several of her co-stars chimed in with heartfelt messages.

Cary Christopher, who recently made his final appearance as Thomas DiMera, wrote:

“Alice, you were so incredible on the show and I’m so happy to have become friends with you!! Can’t wait to see you shine on Little House on the Prairie!”

Martha Madison, known to fans as Belle, added:

“So proud of you kid. I’m a forever fan. Go get em.”

And Rachel Boyd, who plays Sophia, shared:

“You are a rock star!!! 🌟 miss you my miniii”

Clearly, Halsey left more than just a storyline behind. She built some real friendships along the way.
