It was not so long ago that Soap Opera News spoke with Jennifer Bassey [ex-Marian Chandler, AMC] who is preparing for the wedding of a lifetime. Now, comes new that Bassey will be returning to daytime according to Soap Opera Digest. SOD reports that the ‘All My Children’ alum has joined the cast of ‘General Hospital’, but the role which she will play and her length of stay is yet to be announced. However, Soap Opera Intel contacted her agent who was unable to make a comment on the casting only to add that though they are unable to comment on the casting news, “Of course, Port Charles is spectacular this time of the year and a popular destination.”
