Fans who miss All My Children and the fictional world of Pine Valley might finally be in luck. On a recent podcast, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley) shared a pretty exciting update. She revealed that her production company, Milojo, is developing two brand-new All My Children movies for Lifetime.

And guess what? The legendary Susan Lucci, aka Erica Kane, may already be involved.

Could Erica Kane Return?

The name Erica Kane is practically synonymous with daytime drama. Susan Lucci’s iconic role helped define All My Children for decades, delivering cliffhangers, scandals, and unforgettable moments.

The Daytime Emmy winner, who also received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023, remains one of the most recognizable faces in soap history.

During the podcast, Lucci was asked directly if she’d be open to reprising her legendary role. Her response was clear, “I would love to play Erica Kane again,” she said, adding that it would be “a lot of fun.”

She did note that her final yes would depend on the quality of the scripts. Exciting, right?

A Big Year for Susan Lucci

The movie news comes during a busy and meaningful time for Lucci. She recently released her second memoir, La Lucci, which offers a deeply personal look at her life, her storied career in Pine Valley, and her journey following the loss of her husband, Helmut Huber.

She’s also been making the podcast rounds. During an appearance on The Soapy Podcast, hosted by former All My Children co-star Rebecca Budig and Days of Our Lives actor Greg Rikaart, Lucci revealed she recently worked on a film alongside Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill.

Are You Ready to Go Back to Pine Valley?

With Lifetime movies in development and Susan Lucci open to returning as Erica Kane, the possibilities feel endless.
