Andrea Brooks is celebrating her 33rd birthday today!
Brooks was born on March 3, 1989, in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. She trained in figure skating, dancing and musical theatre from an early age. At the age of 15, she auditioned for the Disney film Ice Princess. She lost out on the role but gained an agent. She attended the University of British Columbia, where she gained a BA in English Literature and Film Studies and an MA in Film Studies. She also speaks fluent French.
Brooks’ most prominent role is that of Nurse Faith Carter on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. She is also known for her role as Eve Teschmacher on The CW’s Supergirl. In November 2019, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter.
