There is a new face in Salem this week. Angelica Valentina Nero is taking over the role of Victoria Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives.
As fans know, Victoria is the daughter of Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). She was born onscreen back in September 2023 and carries the name of her late grandfather, the iconic Victor Kiriakis.
Angelica takes over the role following the Kerr twins and, most recently, Amelia and Kennedy Hileman.
Angelica Nero: A Musical Prodigy
Nero might be a new face on daytime TV, but she is already a major star online. An American child actress and singer, Angelica is a true musical prodigy. She started her formal training at just two years old and quickly mastered the violin, piano, and vocals.
By the time she was three, she was already going viral on YouTube with covers of legends like Celine Dion, Adele, and The Beatles.
Her popularity reached a fever pitch in September 2024 when a collaborative Instagram reel she filmed with Emilio Piano pulled in over 600 million views. That staggering number made it the second most-watched reel in the history of the platform.
From Viral Success to Days of Our Lives
It isn’t just fans watching her, either. In April 2025, Paul McCartney himself reposted her version of “Let It Be.” Later that year, Lady Gaga shared Angelica’s adorable recreation of the “Abracadabra” music video.
Between figure skating, dancing, and appearing on news outlets like KTLA 5 and Australia’s Weekend Sunshine, she has kept very busy.
Now, she is bringing that talent to the Kiriakis family. While her IMDb shows she joined the cast in July 2025, her first episode as Victoria is finally scheduled to air in April 2026.
As you know, the show films very far in advance, which is why she is making her debut this week.
Angelica isn’t the only one making a big debut this week. We are also seeing Conner Floyd take over as the new Chad, while Alexander Elijah Bond joins the cast as the new Thomas.
