Arianne Zucker, a beloved actress marks a special anniversary today. It’s the 25th anniversary of her debut as Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives. Although her career began surrounding modeling, Zucker had a career shift when she made her way as an actress in 1998 debuting as Nicole on ‘Days’ on February 27, 1998.
Nicole originally entered Salem with dreams of becoming a model and meets Eric (then played by Jensen Ackles) who would later become the man of her dreams. Throughout the years Nicole became romantically paired with several Salem men, some of whom she married. Nicole was married to guys such as; Trent Robbins, Lucas Roberts (Bryan Dattilo), Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), EJ DiMera (ex-James Scott) while she was significantly paired with guys such as; Eric (Greg Vaughan), Deimos (ex-Vincent Irizarry), Daniel (ex-Shawn Christian), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and others.
While in Salem, Nicole worked as a; businesswoman, journalist, secretary, campaign manager, editor-in-chief, model, waitress and pornographic actress. Zucker remained as a series regular until 2006 when she left the show to pursue other gigs. She returned in 2008 and remained on the show until 2017 when she left again in pursuit of other gigs. Her outstanding portrayal of the role earned her 5 Daytime Emmy Award Nominations in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2020 and 2022.
