Asher Antonyzyn, known for his role as Danny Morgan on General Hospital, made a special appearance on ‘SoapChat’ which is now a regular feature on ABC 7 Eyewitness News 7 a.m. streaming newscast alongside Tracy Butler and Diane Pathieu.
Every Thursday during the digital show, the duo will provide exclusive insights into the dramatic events unfolding in Port Charles. In the debut episode, Butler and Pathieu engaged in an intriguing conversation with Asher Antonyzyn, the talented actor behind the character of Danny Morgan. Hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago, Asher brings a fresh perspective to the show’s dynamic storyline.
Asher delved into the subject of the challenges of balancing work and school life. He also spoke about being a baseball player, working with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and what the future holds for Danny.
On the subject of working with Burton, Asher said, “Working with Steve—he’s such an energetic guy, and he welcomed me right in. The bond you see on camera is what you see off camera. Working with him has been such a great learning experience, learning from a legend like him. It’s so awesome. He’s such a great guy.”
As for what could be ahead of Danny, Asher teases, “Coming up, there’s going to be some tough decisions that he’s going to have to make. There’s going to be some challenging stuff coming up for Danny. So stay tuned and watch that.”
