Can’t Fight This Feeling! Actor, Director, and Producer Ashley Jones’ (Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) new film, The Girl Who Survived: The Alina Thompson Story, is slated to premiere as a part of Lifetime’s “Ripped From the Headlines” film series this September, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The 80s period -true crime piece follows the 15-year-old title character (Brielle Robillard), an aspiring model in 1980s Los Angeles who gets caught in the crosshairs of a dangerous serial killer. “William Bradford,” played by Steve Byers, uses his good looks and charm to lure young women to secluded photo shoots that turn violent.
Jones portrays Alina’s mother in the project, and Sam Trammell plays Alina’s father. Jones also produced the film and “nurtured it from the ground up” with her partner Pierre David.
The Girl Who Survived is set to premiere on Lifetime on September 20, 2025. Don’t miss it.
