The trio have come together in their shared love of storytelling to tell the coming-of-age story about three teenagers on a road trip sparked by a lost mixtape, each of them navigating the space between who they’ve been and who they’re becoming.  The film explores going after things you can’t quite define, feeling directionless, and how friendships can shape one in unexpected ways.

About the Film

Summer of ’76 reflects the confusion, hope and vulnerability one experiences while growing up as well as highlights the timeless themes of uncertainty about the future, the desire for connection, and the search for meaning in an overwhelming world.
