As The World Turns alum Michael Park has been cast in an exciting new role!
According to Deadline, Park will play Gordon, the titular character Dash’s father, in the Netflix adaption of Rachel Cohn and David Levithan’s popular young adult books “Dash and Lily.”
The show will follow cynical Dash and optimistic Lily as they pass a notebook back and forth across New York City, sharing their dares, dreams, and desires until they find they have more in common with each other than they realized. He will be joined in the cast by Austin Abrams, Midori Francis, Glenn McCuen, Gideon Emery, Jennifer Ikeda, and Diego Guevera. “Dash and Lily” is slated for a 2020 release.
Fans will remember Park from his time on the CBS soap As The World Turns where he played fan-favorite Jack Snyder from 1997 to 2010. Since ATWT ended he has kept a busy schedule between starring in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen and several high profile shows like Stranger Things, House of Cards, and Mindhunter.
