Ava Grace Cooper is celebrating her 14th birthday today.
She was born on March 2, 2009, in Vancouver, B.C. The Canadian actress is an award-winning one as she follows in the footsteps of her brother, Christian Michael Cooper starting her acting career at 5 years old.
Her breakout role was in the Feature Film called Edge of Seventeen as the young Krista. She was then cast in the role of Opal Weisse on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart and has played the role since 2016. She has worked on several Hallmark movies alongside Erin Krakow (Elizabeth, WTCH) and Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan West, General Hospital) and more. Ava has won numerous awards throughout the years, most notably for her role as Opal Weisse in When Calls The Heart.
When Ava is not working on set, she is very active with her competitive dance. Some of her genres include Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet and also Musical Theatre. When Ava is not dancing, taking singing lessons or filming, she is enjoying time with her family and friends in the outdoors, either hiking, swimming, boating or skiing.
