In today’s recap of The Bold and the Beautiful for February 22, 2023, Hope queries Taylor about her true motives. Sheila keeps a secret from Bill.
Zende shows Hope his new designs for Hope for The Future. Taylor tries to reassure her that Douglas will be home soon. Taylor tells Brooke she ordered lunch for them from Deacon’s restaurant. Hollis tells Deacon he was requested to deliver lunch to be delivered to Brooke personally. Deacon is jealous. Shelia thinks about her conversation with Deacon. Bill asks her what is going on.
Bill tells her she looks upset, and she says she has nothing to be upset about and she knows how lucky she is to have him. Hollis tries to explain to Deacon about his flirting with Brooke. Deacon reminds him that he has a child with Brooke. Brooke and Taylor joke around about Hollis and Hope wants to know what is going on. Brooke and Taylor explain what happened.

Bill quizzes Shelia about what she is upset about and she assures him she is fine and he appreciates everything he has done for her. He still wants to know what is bothering her. Hollis asks Deacon if he would be ok with him asking Brooke out on a date. Deacon tells him he has moved on from Brooke. Hollis asks him if there is someone else in Deacon’s life. Taylor tries to convince Brooke to pursue Hollis. Hope asks why Taylor is pushing Brooke while staying single herself. She wonders if Taylor is waiting for Ridge to return. Taylor says that is not what is going on. Brooke tells Hope her friendship with Taylor is real.
Deacon tells Hollis he needs to hurry up with the delivery. Hollis asks if he is avoiding answering the questions about the other woman in his life. Deacon flashes back to his time with Shelia and then tells Hollis there is no other woman in his life. He warns Hollis that Brooke will always love Ridge. Bill is worried about what is weighing on Shelia. Shelia tells him that it’s not him and she has already dealt with it so he doesn’t have to worry. He tells her they don’t keep secrets from each other. Hope admits it is hard to get used to Brooke and Taylor being friends. Hollis shows up with lunch.

Hollis flirts with Brooke and she introduces him to her daughter. He asks Brooke out on a date. She accepts and they plan dinner for that night. After he leaves the women to talk about him and the upcoming date. Deacon thinks about his date night with Shelia. Shelia tells Bill she doesn’t feel like talking. He assures her that he is on her side and will understand anything she has to tell him. She admits there is something weighing on her. She tells him there is someone she can’t stop thinking about. She tells him he has been wonderful but that there is someone she misses terribly.
