Hope and Thomas talk about what he overheard and she makes it clear to him that she doesn’t actually see him that way anymore. They talk about how good their relationship is in and out of the office and she tells him that she has faith that he truly has changed. 

Taylor and Brooke are talking in the other office about how well Thomas and Hope are working together and how well the line is doing. Brooke is hesitant to endorse it enthusiastically. When Taylor leaves to take a call Brooke thinks back on her conversation with Hope and then goes to talk to her daughter again. 

Hope tells her mother about Thomas overhearing them and how she told him it wasn’t how she really felt. Brooke wants answers and demands to know if her daughter just said those things to cover up having real feelings for Thomas. In the other office, Taylor comes back and is surprised to find Thomas and not Brooke. He tells her about what he overheard Hope tell Brooke and about the conversation he had with Hope afterward. Taylor is shocked and upset that Brooke didn’t tell her how she was actually feeling about Thomas and it makes her question their friendship.
